The opportunity

EY's Global Tax Desk Network is staffed by tax professionals from approximately 10 global jurisdictions, providing real-time tax advice to our global clients. The teams collaborate with local country tax professionals to offer in-depth tax advice on laws in their jurisdictions and tax-efficient structuring of multi-country transactions. They serve clients engaged in international transactions or expanding across borders.

Our EMEIA Global Tax Desk team includes over 60 professionals, mainly based in London, with members in Paris, Rotterdam, Munich, Madrid, Manama, and Doha. Our Brazil Desk is seeking a Staff member with experience in a corporate environment, to support the Brazilian Tax Desk leader in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a multicultural team and play a key role in inbound investment projects to the US.

Your key responsibilities

• Support the US Tax Desk in building and maintaining client relationships and providing high-quality client service.
• Assist in business development by managing existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.
• Support US Partners and Senior Managers in delivering tax projects with technical excellence and a business-driven approach aligned with EY values.
• Contribute to the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the US Desk and support its integration into the overall EMEIA Tax Desk strategy.

Skills and attributes for success

• Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving, flexibility, curiosity, resilience, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Proven knowledge of international and Brazilian tax.
• Basic negotiation skills, ability to handle challenges, and strategic awareness.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
• Bachelor's Degree in Law and LLM in Taxation.
