JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role, based in the FP&A Finance team, will report to the FP&A Manager and focus on reporting and analysis of all elements of the P&L across Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Assist in coordinating the Business Plan process: maintaining the timetable, scheduling review meetings, updating and consolidating templates, processing changes in Anaplan, and distributing review materials.
  2. Prepare review materials and presentation decks for planning cycles.
  3. Drive standardisation and automation of reporting packs and decks to improve efficiency.
  4. Assist with financial modelling as needed.
  5. Partner with functional and finance leads on Business Plan processes; review, challenge, and analyse variances.
  6. Prepare the monthly European Finance Dashboard and related Business Plan materials.
  7. Manage changes and maintain schedules in Anaplan, including European Asset Management, Funds Management, TBDs, Contingency, and Fees.
  8. Collaborate on maintaining Risk & Opportunities and Key Bets schedules in Anaplan and prepare related outputs.
  9. Work with the Anaplan COE on master data management for Europe.
  10. Become an Anaplan super user and SME for the business.
  11. Maintain FP&A files with appropriate access controls.
  12. Partner with Data & Analytics to develop dashboards for key reports.
  13. Support timely and accurate delivery of planning cycles.
  14. Deputise for the FP&A Manager when required.

KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good general education with strong written and numerical skills.
  • Strong business partnering skills.
  • Accounting background.
  • Excellent Excel skills for financial reporting.
  • Proven PowerPoint experience.
  • Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Anaplan and Oracle is desirable.
  • Problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Essential:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional business, ideally in Real Estate.
  • Experience using Anaplan or similar FP&A tools.
  • Strong financial presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manipulate large data volumes in Excel.
  • Effective communicator capable of interpreting complex financial data.
  • Positive attitude, eager to learn and develop.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work quality.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and methodical.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
