Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance forecasting and stress testing models for both established and emerging products.
  • Execute models across high profile budgeting and stress test exercises.
  • Build and maintain ground overlays to quantify the impact of future strategy changes.
  • Develop and execute forecast model monitoring plans to prioritise model improvements.
  • Present forecast model results to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio strategy, model validation, finance and external audit teams.
Requirements

  • Team player who can be relied upon by colleagues.
Tools & Technologies
  • Python for data science, predictive modelling, model implementation and data visualisation (via Streamlit).
  • GitHub for version control.
  • Version control and continuous improvement of forecasting models through new developments or recalibrations.
  • Construction of grounded overlays to quantify effects of future strategy changes or address model limitations.
  • Implementation of forecast model monitoring to inform prioritisation of model improvements.
  • Presentation of forecast model results to senior management.
  • Collaboration with portfolio strategy, model validation, finance and external audit teams.
Interview Process
  • Initial call with a member of the Forecasting team.
  • Values and collaboration behavioural interview.
  • A live case study problem solving interview.
What's in it for you
  • Salary: £78,000 to £95,000 per year.
  • Incentive awards tied to performance.
  • Benefits, including flexible working hours and trust to work at times that suit your team.
  • Learning budget of £1,000 per year for books, training courses and conferences.
  • Support for relocation to the UK and visa sponsorship.
