Senior Hydraulic Modeller

We are seeking a Senior Hydraulic modeller to join a large international team in Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds, United Kingdom. You will be working as part of a growing and successful Flood risk / Hydrology team with a big focus on Natural flood management, EA frameworks and international water projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical models and engineering solutions for clients such as private developers, local authorities, and environmental agencies.
• Lead the development of flood alleviation schemes, river restoration projects, reservoir hydraulic models, sustainable urban drainage, and catchment modelling.
• Guide junior modellers and provide technical guidance using TUFLOW and other flood modelling software.
• Support the team's diversification effort by gaining experience across the water sector and offering training and exposure to colleagues.
• Engage international clients, delivering technical guidance for large rivers such as those the size of the River Severn in Peru.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technically sound experience in flood modelling and flood risk.
• Professionally qualified or on route with CEng or CIWEM.
• Key experience with TUFLOW, GIS and Flood Modeller Pro.
