Senior Financial Accountant

FiSearch are working with a scaling Amsterdam based company in the professional services industry who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to support their thriving development. The role requires a hands-on accounting professional who is looking to combine their technical expertise alongside additional controllership and operational finance duties.

As Senior Financial Accountant you will oversee the transactional accounting function as well as manage the periodic closing processes. Furthermore, you will lead on financial reporting whilst also providing key input on finance operations and controls.

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Periodic closing (monthly, quarterly and annual)
• Management of transactional level accounting
• Key liaison with audit
• Cash flow reporting, revenue recognition, cost allocations and intercompany transactions
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Implementation of financial controls
• Communicate to leadership on business performance

Requirements:

• Degree and/or Masters in Finance (or equivalent)
• 5+ years experience within a finance department or similar role
• Experience and proficiency with Dutch GAAP
• High ability to work to strict deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail with high proficiency in excel
• Highly effective collaboration and communication skills - Dutch fluency is required
• Willingness to operate in a fast-paced scale up environment
