Job Description

We are supporting a leading organisation within the energy and infrastructure sector in the appointment of a Senior Finance Business Partner . This is an opportunity to join a continuously evolving business, offering broad exposure to commercial performance and senior stakeholder engagement.

This is a highly strategic and visible role combining financial analysis, performance management, and business partnering, with close interaction across operational teams and senior leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders and JV stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support commercial decision-making.
  • Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including the development of financial analytics and performance reporting.
  • Manage and monitor the financial performance of key business areas, identifying issues and supporting corrective actions where required.
  • Present financial information and analysis to senior stakeholders and support statutory reporting and audit activities.
  • Maintain robust governance and control frameworks while ensuring seamless collaboration across finance teams.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with 4+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Previous experience in a finance business partnering or commercially focused finance role.
  • Strong understanding of financial performance drivers, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and challenge effectively.
  • Previous commercial finance experience in Energy & Infrastructure, or a capital intensive development environment would be highly advantageous.
