We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to support a complex and fast-paced business environment. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders, providing financial insight, challenge, and support to drive effective decision-making and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and budget holders, acting as a trusted finance partner.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and month-end reporting activities.
Produce financial analysis, management reports, variance analysis, and insightful commentary to support decision-making.
Review, challenge, and support the development of business cases, investment proposals, and financial plans.
Work collaboratively with operational and finance teams to ensure forecasts, budgets, and reporting are delivered accurately and on time.
Support procurement planning, resource planning, and financial governance activities.
Provide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic and operational objectives.
Participate in governance forums and stakeholder meetings, representing the finance function.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality, and business performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Senior Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, or similar role.
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
Experience developing or reviewing business cases and supporting investment decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems.
Experience working within complex organisations and managing multiple priorities.
Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) desirable.
