Senior Finance Partner

Location: Gloucestershire (Hybrid - 3 to 4 days in the office)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead on financial planning and analysis across a diverse operational portfolio, including both ongoing service delivery and capital investment projects. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across operational and capital programmes.
  • Deliver high-quality financial analysis to support business planning and investment decisions.
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure robust reporting and variance analysis.
  • Support the development of business cases and financial models for new initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
  • Present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Support the wider finance team and deputise for senior colleagues when required.
About You
  • Fully qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in a finance business partnering or FP&A role within a complex organisation.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate financial data effectively.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience working on capital projects or long-term investment programmes is desirable but not essential.
