We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team here in London!
Step into the heart of Disney's Consumer Products (DCP) Licensing business as part of theEMEA Retail Insights team-the strategic finance engine behindRetail, Brand Commercialisation, and Amazon. We don't just report the numbers-we shape the story!
We're also leading the charge inFinance Transformation, pioneering self-serve analytics, automating processes, and upskilling teams across the region. If you're passionate about data, storytelling, and driving change, this is your stage.
Please note: This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
What You Will Do
Strategic Finance Partnering
Be the go-to finance expert for ourBrand CommercialisationandUK Retailteams:
Deliver insightful forecasts and macro trends (e.g. Toy market, Amazon EPOS) to spotlight risks and uncover growth opportunities.
Support long-term planning by benchmarking upcoming content against historical performance-helping shape the future of our franchises.
Own and evolve our macro market sizing tools (Flywheel, Euromonitor, Statista)
Trade Marketing Budget Leadership
Own and optimise theEMEA Trade Marketing budget:
Track and consolidate spend across markets, advising on fund allocation and ensuring accurate quarter-end positions.
Lead finance support forAmazon and UK marketing, managing POs and accruals in close collaboration with the retail team.
Finance Transformation Champion
Drive innovation through data and automation:
Design and roll outself-serve dashboardsin Tableau/Power BI-impacting 200+ users globally.
UseSQL, Python, or Rto streamline manual processes and boost efficiency across the board.
Team Development
Mentor and develop interns, ensuring high-quality outputs and a strong learning culture.
Empower the wider EMEA DCP Finance team to upskill themselves on data visualization & process automation tools, acting as an on-hand support function to their learning
Required Qualifications & Skills
An experienced Senior Finance Analyst with an accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent)
Past roles within an equivalent finance / business partnering position
Ability to build effective relationships and manage stakeholders across the hierarchy of a multi-national matrix organisation
Previous work with large, complex data sets and forecasting systems
Experience working with data visualisation software e.g. Tableau / PowerBI and SQL/Python/R languages - both highly beneficial, or must have strong enthusiasm to learn.
Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve problems
An ability to plan, execute and lead projects to an extremely high standard
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple demanding deadlines
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, flexible to all levels of the organisation
Ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail for the relevant stakeholders
