Fantastic Senior Fertility Nurse - South East London - Fantastic Fertility Clinic - Up to £55,000 (DOE) - Full Time

With over three decades of expertise and a remarkable legacy of assisting more than 5,000 families in welcoming new life, we are seeking a dedicated Fertility Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a pioneering clinic in the field, you'll play a crucial role in supporting couples and individuals on their path to parenthood, gaining exposure to cutting-edge fertility treatments, including IVF, ICSI, IUI, and PGT. Comprehensive training is offered for individuals with relevant healthcare backgrounds such as Gynaecology, Surgical Ward, or Women's Health.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Experience in fertility nursing (Desirable but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassion and the ability to provide emotional support to patients.
  • Calm and professional demeanor, especially under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of current fertility treatments and technologies.
Skills and Responsibilities
  • Provide vigilant supervision of medications, blood analyses, and ultrasound assessments.
  • Conduct fertility evaluations and diagnostic examinations, including semen analyses and blood tests, actively contributing to the interpretation of findings.
  • Guide patients through treatment alternatives, ensuring a thorough understanding of pros and cons.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, embryologists, and healthcare colleagues to seamlessly coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients on fertility-related concerns and therapies, demonstrating proficiency in administering fertility medications.
  • Administer various injections, including subcutaneous and intramuscular applications.
  • Assist in procedures such as egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and other fertility interventions.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and comprehensive documentation.
  • Actively participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest fertility treatments and technologies.
  • Ensure unwavering adherence to clinic policies and protocols during the delivery of patient care.
