JOB TITLE: Senior Examination Invigilators Register
JOB PURPOSE:
Formal written examinations are an integral part of the assessment process related to teaching and learning for our students. In any academic year, there are two discrete periods of written examination - at the end of Semester One (January) and Semester Two (May). Semester One and Two examinations take place on the Stranmillis campus.
In Semester One there are normally 3-4 exam sessions, with 16 different examinations, and about 537 candidates involved.
In Semester Two, there are typically 9 exam sessions, with approximately 50 different examinations, and about 1350 candidates involved.
To enable these various examinations to run smoothly and effectively we require Senior Invigilators to oversee and manage each of the exam sessions.
Posts will be casual (i.e., recruited as and when the need arises) for until 30 June 2027, and hours will be dependent upon business needs. Working days will be mutually agreed, and there is no obligation to agree to undertake work whilst held on the Register.
