Job Description

We're looking for Senior Estimators to join our team in Scotland, delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

Based at our East Kilbride office, your responsibilities will be:

  1. Preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil engineering tenders.
  2. Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  3. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate prices.
  4. Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
  5. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure estimates are practical and deliverable.
  6. Participate in client meetings and presentations as required.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in civil engineering, ideally in rail, highways or port infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and construction methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
  • Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Candy, Causeway, or similar) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline preferred.
