Senior Estates Surveyor - Estates & Asset Management
Are you a commercially minded property professional with a passion for strategic asset management and delivering value through real estate?We're looking for an experienced Strategic Property Surveyor to lead on a diverse portfolio of property and estates work. This is a high-impact role focused on optimising the use of assets to deliver financial, operational, and social value.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on property and estates management, leasing, licensing, and landlord & tenant matters.
  • Lead on lease events including renewals, rent reviews, and break clauses.
  • Manage external agents, contractors, and consultants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Support strategic disposals and acquisitions to feed into capital pipelines for major regeneration and infrastructure projects.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through third-party lettings and commercial initiatives.
  • Ensure assets are safe, compliant, and well-maintained, enforcing tenant obligations where necessary.
  • Contribute to carbon reduction strategies across the estate.
  • Collaborate with public sector partners and internal stakeholders to drive innovation and best practice.
What We're Looking For
  • Degree-qualified with a professional property accreditation (e.g. RICS).
  • Strong knowledge of estate and asset management, with experience in strategic property planning.
  • Proven ability to manage complex negotiations, consultants, and technical advisers.
  • Excellent people management skills and experience leading professional teams.
  • Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for value generation.
