Senior Erlang Developer

We're looking for a Senior Erlang Developer based in the UK who thrives on solving complex challenges and building systems that make a real impact.
This is a remote-first role, but you'll occasionally join us in London for customer meetings, collaboration sessions, and team events. Ideally you will be based within a 1.5 hour commute to London.
About YouYou're an experienced Erlang developer who enjoys working in distributed teams and values continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence. You communicate clearly, share knowledge generously, and approach challenges with creativity and pragmatism in a consultancy environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in Erlang/OTP development and debugging
- Must have very good to expert knowledge and experience with distributed systems, fault-tolerant design, and message-driven architectures.
- Experience with Elixir or other BEAM technologies (a plus)
- Willingness to get involved with integration and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Unit tests.
- Willingness to dive into code regardless of programming language.
- Understanding of agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Some experience with C code.
- Some experience with DevOps tools (Docker, RPMs, Version control, AWS).
- RabbitMQ experience or in any other Messaging system (ActiveMQ, Kafka)
- Consultancy experience
