Senior Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading construction contractor on a major project in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to take on a key leadership role, overseeing site engineering activities, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all engineering activities on site. Manage setting out, dimensional control, and survey requirements. Provide leadership and support to Site Engineers and Junior Engineers. Ensure as-built surveys and engineering records are completed accurately. Maintain high standards of quality assurance and compliance. Prepare and review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive close-out actions. Review and prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Coordinate Temporary Works activities and support lifting operations. Manage technical queries and the RFI process. Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and management to ensure successful project delivery. About You Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in a Senior Engineer or Site Engineer position on large-scale construction projects. Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and construction best practices. Experience managing setting out and survey activities. Knowledge of Temporary Works and site-based health & safety requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
