The team invents ML techniques that will change the way chips and systems are designed, by reducing long loop iterations and enabling deeper exploration of the design solution space.

We work on unsolved problems by applying ML to all aspects of VLSI from FrontEnd design to Backend and Digital and Analog circuits, with tons of data (each chip has billions of transistors).

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

You will be expected to work in a cross functional team of ML, CAD, IT, 5G, RF, Digital/Analog Design experts on identifying new opportunities to apply ML, exploring advanced ML techniques, developing/testing/tuning ML algorithms, and writing/deploying/supporting production ready software to design teams, with an opportunity to contribute to one of the emerging new frontiers in ML innovation in this large space of unsolved problems.

Please note this role will require 5 days per week onsite in our Cork office

• Strong team player
• Experience in engineering competitive ML solutions
• Hands on programming is a must (Python)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to pick up new skills and apply to new areas
• Experience with VLSI chip design (verification, physical design, timing, etc)
• Experience with MLOps SW (from development to deployment)
• Experience with advanced ML techniques and theory (e.g. graph NN, RL)
• Experience with CAD optimization algorithms
