Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We're recruiting a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a specialist technology company developing advanced sensing and measurement systems.

This is a senior, hands on role with significant technical ownership. You'll work on SoC FPGA platforms, developing the embedded software that sits between ARM processors, FPGA programmable logic and complex measurement systems.

The Role

• Embedded Linux development in C/C++
• ARM / SoC development
• Processor-to-FPGA integration
• AXI, DMA, interrupts and memory-mapped I/O
• Low-level interfaces and drivers
• High-speed data acquisition and processing
• Porting MATLAB/Python algorithms into embedded C/C++
• Signal processing and hardware/software co-design

What We're Looking For

Strong commercial experience with:

• Embedded Linux, ideally PetaLinux or Yocto
• C/C++
• ARM-based embedded systems
• Low-level hardware/software integration
• FPGA-connected systems

Experience with Zynq UltraScale+, signal processing, device drivers, Edge AI or industrial/test-and-measurement systems would be particularly valuable.
