Senior Electrical Engineer Ballycoolin Business Park, Dublin Salary: €85,000 €95,000 + Benefits Location: Ballycoolin Business Park, Dublin Sector: Data Centres / Mission Critical / Advanced Technology Employment: Permanent We are representing a leading international engineering and construction contractor delivering major projects across the Data Centre, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences and Mission Critical sectors. They are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Project Team, supporting the delivery of high-value projects for major Data Centre clients. This is a senior technical role covering design, engineering, procurement, planning, construction and handover, with responsibility for coordinating electrical design packages and supporting site delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate Electrical engineering and design activities across major projects. Manage Electrical design packages from initial review through procurement, construction and handover. Work closely with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, Electrical Managers and site teams. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, planners, estimators and Quantity Surveyors. Develop Electrical scopes of work, TIDPs and RACI/responsibility matrices. Manage design deliverables, approvals and technical submissions. Identify design risks, issues and interfaces and develop mitigation strategies. Support project planning, procurement and construction activities. Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams. Support tenders and pre-construction services activities. Prepare technical reports and documentation for project approvals and permits. Promote sustainable design and construction practices. Requirements 7+ years' post-graduate experience in Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Data Centre projects. Strong Electrical design, engineering and construction knowledge. Proven experience working on large-scale, technically complex projects. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams. Strong understanding of Electrical building services and Data Centre infrastructure. Full clean driving licence
