Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior (or Lead) Electrical Designer, to strengthen the design team for one of our key partners. In this exciting role, you will not only work on complex and high-impact offshore energy projects but also take ownership of coordinating the E&I design environment within PDMS. You'll be part of multidisciplinary teams delivering state-of-the-art solutions for the renewable energy and offshore sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage the PDMS system for E&I design activities.
  • Set up and maintain the PDMS library and project-specific databases.
  • Coordinate the E&I project teams to ensure consistent and high-quality 3D designs.
  • Collaborate closely with designers and engineers across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Drive technical discussions and decision-making within the design team.
  • Lead optimization initiatives for PDMS workflows and system usage.
  • Mentor and support junior designers and new team members within the PDMS environment.


Your Profile:

  • At least a MBO level degree (secondary vocational education) in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in the offshore, (renewable) energy, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Proven experience with PDMS (E3D) and coordination of design activities within multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive mindset, and a collaborative attitude.
