Our client, a leading consultancy in design, engineering, and project management, is seeking experienced EIA Consultants to join their Planning and Environmental Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects across the energy, water, rail, highways, and buildings sectors in the UK, with potential international exposure.
As an EIA Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering environmental services that enable the consenting and delivery of sustainable projects, working with a diverse range of clients including Network Rail, National Highways, and renewable energy providers.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related deliverables.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal environmental outcomes.
- Prepare and review high-quality reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Manage client relationships professionally and confidently.
- Support business development initiatives and mentor junior team members.
- Degree or Master's in an environmental or related discipline.
- Chartered Environmentalist status (IEMA or equivalent preferred).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and associated technical specialisms.
- Proven leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Coordinate environmental assessments and manage project deliverables.
- Influence project development to achieve high environmental standards.
- Engage with clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Contribute to bids and proposals for new business opportunities.
