Senior EHS Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a Senior EHS Advisor to join a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Denmark. This role is with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor and you will oversee all site logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, deliveries, storage, and transport across a fast-paced live construction environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice, guidance, support, and instruction on all EHS matters to management, supervisors, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and visitors
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all project teams through leadership and proactive engagement
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of project-specific EHS Management Systems
  • Carry out site audits and inspections, documenting findings and driving corrective actions
  • Prepare and maintain project-specific EHS Plans, inductions, and RAMS
  • Ensure all EHS documentation remains compliant, up to date, and communicated effectively
  • Support incident reporting and lead investigations using root cause analysis methodologies
  • Identify hazards and implement preventative and corrective measures to reduce risk
  • Monitor project compliance with legislation, company standards, and client requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar EHS role within construction, engineering, or related industries
  • Experience working across Electrical, Mechanical, and CSA projects is highly desirable
  • Diploma to NFQ Level 8 in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Certificate to NFQ Level 6 in Environmental Management
  • Safe Pass, Train the Trainer, First Aid, and relevant instructor certifications
  • Internal ISO14001 and ISO45001 auditing experience
  • Strong understanding of Construction Regulations and CDM requirements
  • Experience working with subcontractors, Main Contractors, and multi-disciplinary project teams
