Senior Director, Finance Special Projects and Revenue

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Senior Director - Finance Special Projects & Revenue. This position will play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic direction, development, and implementation of HFHI ERP application systems within the organization. This includes leading ERP planning, team development, project execution, and completion of ERP solution projections, while ensuring system stability, risk mitigation, financial efficiency, stakeholder alignment, user and third-party management, and continuous improvement of financial systems. The scope includes the retirement of the current financial system.

This will be a temporary position focused on ensuring the effective and timely completion of the ERP solution and its subsequent rollout across HFHI.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of HFHI's new ERP Solution, ensuring timely implementation within scope, budget, and user satisfaction.
• Align finance and accounting policies with necessary controls to support the ERP Solution, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Identify, mentor, and guide finance and accounting teams in effectively applying their roles within the new ERP system.
• Advise the VP Finance on potential staffing adjustments due to enhancements brought by the new ERP Solution, including creating new roles and reviewing old roles for redundancy.
• Foster collaboration across divisions, IT teams, and external partners, incorporating feedback to improve the system.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure seamless ERP implementation and ongoing operations.
• Manage capital and expense budgets related to ERP implementation, providing updated financials to stakeholders, including advising on capitalization and expense treatment of costs.
• Provide responsive support to finance teams and other HFHI departments as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance functionality, efficiency, and user experience of the ERP system.
• Cultivate a high-performance work environment, balancing multiple priorities with organization, timeliness, cost-effectiveness, accuracy, and measurable results.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Over 10 years of related experience
• Experience in continuous improvement, process analysis, and process improvement
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Knowledge of USGAAP and IFRS
• Public accounting experience
• CPA certification
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's degree
