We are seeking a Senior Director, Account Management to drive client satisfaction for a portfolio of assigned clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing multiple business lines, developing strategic account plans, and driving revenue to ensure a profitable client portfolio.
Principal/Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for strategic management of a client portfolio, including multiple product lines (domestic, international, household goods). Coordinates business reviews and collaborates with clients to provide value-added solutions aligned with their goals.
- Drive the financial health of assigned clients by identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth, including regional service expansion, upselling new products, managing receivables, and controlling client-related travel costs.
- Monitor and address service delivery escalations, working with relevant teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction. Build positive relationships with operations and support groups to identify root causes, develop solutions, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain accurate client requirements and profiles, and assist with the implementation of technology changes and new services.
- Exhibit leadership by mentoring team members and supporting team initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Global Sales team as needed.
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Manage a high-volume, complex client portfolio.
- Operate effectively within a Champion/Challenger sales model to position Graebel ahead of competitors.
- Create detailed reports, business communications, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Deliver effective presentations to management and large groups.
- Perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Proficiently use computer programs including Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and work within web-based applications.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Business, Management, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience (at least 5 years) may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional relocation industry experience, including at least 5 years in account management.
