Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to manage a school dining centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality catering services in a safe and hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations
• Manage food and supply orders
• Maintain overall service standards
• Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, particularly in food safety and health and safety

Qualifications

• Good understanding of food hygiene
• Good customer service skills
• Hold the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate (or be willing to study upon appointment)

Hours & Schedule

Hours per week: 20

Times: Monday Friday 9.45am 1.45pm (start and end times may vary within the hours stated, dependent on the needs of the service)

Term time only (38 weeks per year)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check may be required
• Post holder must comply with the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers
