Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

Expleo is seeking a technically strong Senior DevOps Engineer to support a transition from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Jira. This role will lead the Jira workflow strategy and implementation, working closely with a Product Owner who brings business insight but requires technical support in configuring Jira workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Jira workflows across the organisation.
• Drive DevOps and DevSecOps strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with compliance and reporting requirements.
• Provide engineering leadership and hands-on technical delivery across tooling and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and adoption of Jira.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and stakeholders on best practices in workflow management and DevOps.

Essential skills

• Ability to integrate tools such as ServiceNow and PowerBI into engineering workflows.
• Comfortable working in environments with strict compliance, controls, and reporting standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desired skills

• Technically hands-on and proactive in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Able to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution.
• Familiar with enterprise environments and large-scale tooling transitions.

Experience

• Proven expertise in Jira workflow design, configuration, and project management.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, including source control and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Deep understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles, with experience in strategy and implementation.
• Experienced in leading engineering efforts and mentoring others.
