What You'll Do
  • Optimise our cloud and on-prem infrastructure to maximise reliability and reduce costs.
  • Architect and shape the future platforms of our technology, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Develop automation tools that empower our operational teams to deliver technology efficiently and seamlessly.
  • Diagnose, triage, and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain maximum service uptime.
  • Gather insights and feedback to inform continuous improvement in how we deliver our technology.
What You'll Bring
  • A strong understanding of Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing a medium sized multi account cloud platform.
  • Experience working with and using infrastructure as code tooling and CI/CD pipelines, e.g. Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible.
  • Experience working with GitOps workflows.
  • A degree in a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) subject.
  • Self starter with initiative and the ability to pick up and develop projects independently.
  • Ability to work quickly and make effective decisions.
  • Intellectually curious and has the drive to ask the right questions in order to get to the bottom of complex issues.
  • An individual who is able to be flexible in working arrangements.
  • The ability to quickly grasp complex issues.
  • The ability to work well under pressure to tight deadlines whilst remaining organised.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience programming/scripting in a high level language, e.g. Python.
  • Low level understanding of Ubuntu or other Linux distributions.
  • Comfortable deploying self managed Kubernetes.

Location

There is a choice between working remotely 3 hours timezone from UK, or we also have offices in London, Winchester and Bristol.
