About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on CI/CD pipelines to join our infrastructure team. You will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps toolchain and play a critical role in automating software delivery and infrastructure provisioning across on-premises and hybrid environments.

This position requires a hands-on engineer with deep experience in continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment automation using industry-standard tools. You will work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to enhance developer productivity and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support development, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Implement automation strategies for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Integrate and manage DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Nexus, ArgoCD, SonarQube, and Helm.
  • Optimize build/test/release pipelines to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Champion DevOps best practices across teams: version control, automated testing, monitoring, and release management.
  • Set up and maintain artifact repositories, secrets management, and secure credential access.
  • Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot build failures, and resolve deployment issues.
  • Implement containerisation strategies using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate on release processes, rollback strategies, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Actively participate in architectural discussions and tool selection for CI/CD and automation.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or Bamboo; Nexus or JFrog Artifactory; SonarQube, Checkmarx, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Scripting languages (eg, Bash, Python, Groovy).
  • Proven experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of GitOps, version control workflows, and branching strategies.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
  • Exposure to hybrid infrastructure (on-prem and cloud, preferably Azure or OCI).
  • Familiarity with security best practices for pipelines, secrets, and access control.
  • Experience working in regulated environments (eg, finance, healthcare, manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of high availability and DR strategies for CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
  • Certifications such as: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, GitLab/Jenkins/DevOps-specific certifications.
  • Competitive salary and annual bonus structure.
  • Flexible hybrid or remote work setup.
  • Continuous learning and certification support.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional teams with a flat hierarchy.
  • Opportunity to shape CI/CD strategy and tooling in a growing tech ecosystem.
