Job Title: Senior DevOps Developer
Duration: 12months + contract (Plus Extensions)
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

  • The DevSecOps Centre of Excellence (DSOCoE) is looking for a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to help drive innovation and efficiency across CI/CD, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation. 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Automate cloud infrastructure with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Collaborate with IT teams to maintain smooth and secure environments.
  • Build scalable, reliable platform solutions aligned with future business needs.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement automated solutions to reduce manual tasks.
  • Innovate around developer tools to boost productivity and eliminate overhead.

Essential Skills:
  • Solid experience as a Platform Engineer or DevOps Specialist on Linux systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Proficiency in Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (eg, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
  • Strong understanding of platform architecture and secure deployments.
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for automation and developer enablement.
  • Clear communicator.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach based on feedback.

Educational Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in IT or related field.
  • Certifications (Anyone):
    • DevSecOps Professional.
    • DevOps Engineer Professional.
    • Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert.
    • Google Cloud DevOps Engineer.
