Senior Design Engineer (CIVILS & STRUCTURAL)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all documentation is accurately produced in accordance with BIM standards as well as company standards
• Act as the Technical Ambassador for the projects and be the Engineering/Design point of contact for the client
• Proactively resolve any technical issues relating to design assurance
• Guide CAD/BIM Technicians in the develop of design drawings, details and library of standard details
• Check design calculations, contract documentation, drawings and technical documents
• Attend internal/external meetings such as; IDC's

Essential Skills

• Substantial Civil and Structural design experience working within a Rail environment i.e Bridges, Platforms, Reinforced Structure Depot's, AFA schemes
• Must have a degree in Civil Engineering
• Must have knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes

Desired Skills

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or currently working towards) with the ICE
• Ideally has undertaken the role of CRE-D
