Job Description
Senior Dental Officer

Role - Senior Dental Officer - Specialist in Paediatrics Band C

Employed by Kings College Hospital, we pride ourselves on delivering a Consultant Lead, Dental General anaesthetic Service for Community Paediatric patients in the Croydon and Kingston areas. Working closely with the anaesthetic and theatre teams at Croydon University, Barts and Kingston Hospitals. The successful candidate will have a specialist status in Paediatric Dentistry. A key part of your role will also include:

  • Conducting thorough pre-operative assessments for patients requiring GA, primarily in community settings
  • Managing and triaging the GA waiting list, ensuring timely and equitable access to treatment
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, patient centred care pathways
  • Supporting service development and quality improvement initiatives across the GA service

  • Full registration with GDC with license to practice as a dentist
  • Leadership and management experience
