Main duties of the job

As a SeniorDental Nurse,youll provide clinical and operational support across multiple Smile Togetherpractices. From short-notice cover to planned support, youll play a key rolein maintaining continuity of care and upholding the highest standards ininfection control, safeguarding, compliance, and patient experience.

You'llwork closely with Practice Managers to support day-to-day operations, and actas a role model and mentor to dental nurses and trainees, helping them settleinto practice life and grow in confidence. Whether its preparing a surgery,supporting a colleague, or helping implement service improvements, yourreliability, professionalism, and clinical experience will make you aninvaluable

Job responsibilities

Coverage and Support KPIs: Response time to cover requests, feedback fromPractice Managers, number of sites supportedCompliance KPIs: Clinical audit results, IPC standards adherence,safeguarding process compliancePeople KPIs: Support for onboarding and mentoring, nurse developmentoutcomes, retention and satisfaction of staff supportedOperational KPIs: Efficient use of resources across sites, effectiveness ofstock and equipment managementLeadership KPIs: Contribution to practice team meetings, support withimprovement initiatives, feedback from team members and managersKPIs will be reviewed regularly through supervision and appraisal processes,and the post holder will be supported to meet and exceed expectations.
