Senior Data Engineer: Lakehouse Pipelines & Medallion

Wise is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II for the Data Onboarding Team in London. You will lead data pipelines on our Lakehouse stack (Trino + Iceberg) within a Medallion Architecture, turning raw event logs into reliable subledgers and metrics for the Finance squad.

You will work on high-throughput data streams (Kafka), collaborate with finance and product teams, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring data quality and timely reporting.
