We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead a dynamic data engineering workstream. This role involves providing technical direction, mentorship, and collaborating with stakeholders to transform high-level requirements into actionable solutions. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using modern cloud and orchestration tools, contributing hands-on to development tasks to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
Responsibilities- Lead a data engineering workstream, providing technical direction and mentorship.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret high-level, abstract requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using modern cloud and orchestration tools.
- Contribute hands-on to development tasks, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Work in an agile, iterative environment with evolving requirements.
- Support governance cycles and infrastructure setup as part of foundational work.
- Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer in complex, agile environments.
- Strong proficiency in Airflow (or similar orchestration tools), Snowflake, AWS, Python, and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with incomplete or evolving information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and take initiative.
- Experience working with marketing or analytics teams is a plus.
