Salary Grade F Points 14 to 19 (£29,540 to £32,061 Full Time Equivalent), subject to pro rata. Minimum actual pro rata salary £25,520.47.

About the role

Senior Cover Supervisor (full time, permanent) joining the academy in June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Manage cover for day to day and longer term absences for teaching staff, minimising disruption to learning.
• Book and organise cover arrangements, while providing supervision of pupil learning within the academy.
• Respond to questions, assist students in undertaking set activities and uphold standards of behaviour in the classroom.
• Work alongside teaching and classroom based staff to provide general support for departments.
• Use ICT and various software packages in the course of duty.

Qualifications

• Experience in cover supervision or similar role in an educational setting is desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• ICT literate and competent in the use of a range of software packages.
