Job Description

A standout opportunity for a senior associate to join the corporate team of a top-ranked city boutique law firm in London. The Team

The corporate group is a cohesive, high-performing team lawyers, working across complex domestic and cross-border transactions. The firm maintains strong relationships with "best friend" firms internationally, regularly collaborating on multi-jurisdictional matters across Europe, the US, the Middle East, and Africa.

The Work

You'll lead on high-quality corporate matters, including:
  • M&A (public and private company transactions)
  • Private equity deals and fundraising rounds
  • Corporate reorganisations and structuring
  • Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
  • Governance and shareholder matters
The team frequently acts on deals ranging from £10m to £100m and is consistently recognised in Chambers and The Legal 500 for excellence in the mid-market.

Client Base

You will advise a diverse client base, including:
  • HNW individuals, family offices, and privately held businesses
  • Investment funds, PE houses, and sovereign wealth entities
  • International corporates and listed companies

Sectors span technology, real estate, financial services, energy, professional services, and media.

Your Role & Progression

As a senior associate, you'll:
  • Take a lead role on transactions and oversee juniors
  • Engage directly with clients and build long-term relationships
  • Play an active role in business development and networking
  • Contribute to the firm's growth strategy and mentor junior lawyers

About You

You'll likely have:
  • 5-8 years' PQE from a recognised City, West End, or leading regional firm
  • Strong M&A and private company experience, with confidence leading transactions
  • An interest in developing new business and expanding client relationships
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commercial mindset
  • Experience with cross-border deals or language skills (e.g. French) would be an asset
