Earthstream are proud to be recruiting Senior Controls Engineers for a leading industrial automation solutions provider focusing on innovative projects across multiple industries.

Job Role:

Senior Controls Engineer

Location:

Telford or Daresbury

Salary:

£55-65k. Car allowance of £6k, 5% pension, 25 days holidays plus statutory days, Bupa healthcare, and life cover.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical/controls concept design including Functional Design Specification, Safety Requirements Specification, Single Line Diagram, Network Topology, Device Layout, Cause & Effect Matrix, Safety Block Diagram, etc.
• Handover to the Hardware Design team and review of designs produced.
• Software Design, including Software Design Specification and production of Software / Configuration deliverables for PLC, HMI, SCADA, Robots, Drives, etc.
• Maintenance of the Technical Construction File. Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of BEng / BSE / Level 6 Apprenticeship in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
• Very good understanding of electrical control systems
