Senior Contracts Engineer

The Senior Contracts Engineer is accountable for managing the contracts team deployed on various projects. Contract execution support is provided to the Project Management team, which acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) to deliver the project program.

The role also involves reviewing early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), particularly regarding procurement and contracting strategies, produced by KJO's front-end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• Educated to one of the following:
• Alternate I: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Administration, Business, or a closely related field. (OR)
• Alternate II: Diploma or equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Contract Management.

• Alternate I: Twelve (12) years of experience in project contract administration, procurement, vendor communication, and contract writing skills, with at least ten (10) years in contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Alternate II: Fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, including contract administration, procurement, communication, and contract writing, with at least ten (10) years in related contract activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.

• Preferably, PMC experience in a similar role for several years.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures is beneficial.
• Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office packages.
