Job Description

MomentumABM is a growth consultancy that enables global organizations to achieve market-beating performance by winning, growing and retaining their most valuable client relationships. Due to the growth of the business, we are now seeking additional talented people to join our Content Services team.

Role

As a Senior Content Strategist, you'll have a strong B2B copywriting background. However, you're much more than just a talented writer, you'll be a consultant in the true sense of the word. Someone who works closely with clients - getting to know key stakeholders, understanding their needs and building lasting relationships.

When it comes to execution, your work will vary greatly from messaging and value proposition development through to outlines, drafting briefs, creating content frameworks, alongside drafting scripts, social media posts, blogs, web copy and longer-form content.

In addition, you will act as a brand champion, safeguarding the look, feel, and approach of one of our key clients to ensure quality, consistency and continuity.

This role calls for someone who is a self-starter and versatile. The ideal candidate can lead, offer guidance, share experience, and be equipped for change as our business grows and evolves.

Key responsibilities
  • Write. Our Senior Content Strategists all have strong B2B copywriting backgrounds - we'll need that from our new hire too.
  • Collaborate with - and guide - internal and external stakeholders on project and content planning, ideation, messaging, framework development and delivery.
  • Present ideas, work consultatively with clients, discuss creative direction to help them achieve their goals, run workshops and interviews.
  • Review existing content from clients, identify gaps and opportunities, make recommendations for new assets and orchestration plans.
  • Work with creative leads in the planning and execution of campaign and asset development.
  • Guide and oversee the work of more junior strategists and copywriters.
  • Develop high-quality, engaging, and persuasive content for various marketing platforms.
  • Work with the consulting, design and producer teams to create cohesive and effective content that meets the client need.
  • Be the quality guardian for a key account and ensure our process, people, and product are always of a high standard.
  • Support business development by being the content expert for your key accounts.
Skills
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into a content program and plan deliverables - ensuring content aligns with specified objectives.
  • Effectively engage and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of content initiatives.
  • Ability to craft clear, engaging, and persuasive content tailored for various audiences, platforms and formats.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions quickly.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and manage your own work to ensure the successful and timely completion of all your project goals and objectives.
  • This is not a management role, but the ability to guide and influence a multi-disciplinary team for exceptional results is critical aspect of the job.
Experience
  • At least 7 years' experience working in similar role with a consultancy, creative agency or related B2B industry.
  • Good understanding of the B2B sector, particularly the areas of client-centric growth strategies, account-based marketing (ABM), and consultancy services.
  • Operational knowledge of CMS, project management, AI tools for content creation, and other martech used in creation and distribution.
