This is a senior role at the heart of the ITV News operation.

• You will lead teams across all of our platforms producing or planning daily news coverage on TV, streaming and digital.
• An excellent understanding of the breadth of coverage across ITV News platforms is vital to the role, as is a good understanding of newsgathering.
• You will chair editorial meetings and lead key decision making around assignments and some coverage spending.
• You may need to make editorial calls around legal issues and taste and decency.
• You may also be given special responsibility in a particular area, for example, as a strategic leader for a major Newsroom project.
• You will have line management responsibility.
• You will be a part of the ITV News executive team which plays a key role in steering newsroom strategy.
