WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORAre you ready to shape the future of healthcare decision-making? As a Senior Consultant in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), you'll lead innovative projects across the UK, Ireland, and Europe-driving cost-effectiveness analyses, real-world evidence generation, and market access strategies that influence payer and policy decisions. Partnering with clients, health authorities, and internal experts, you'll deliver impactful insights that support reimbursement and product value communication, while advancing commercial growth and strengthening senior client relationships in a dynamic and evolving HEOR landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Lead HEOR strategy development tailored to UK and Irish HTA and payer environments, adapting deliverables to European country requirements.
- Design and/or adapt economic models and real-world evidence studies to support clients' assets and conduct research with KOLs or external validators to validate models and align with current policies.
- Support value communication materials including HTA submissions, global value dossiers, and payer presentations.
- Interpret and synthesize clinical, economic, and patient-reported outcomes data to support product value propositions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., academic institutions, payers).
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
- Support business development through proposal and pitch content development and review and client engagement.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with clients, HTA and regulatory bodies, policy makers, health systems, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive new business development (up selling and cross selling) through proactive engagement, proposal development, and collaboration with commercial team and across European delivery teams.
- Contribute to thought leadership by developing insights, publications, or presentations on health economics.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance visibility and market presence.
- Advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MSc, MPH, PharmD) in health economics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HEOR within a consultancy, additional experience in a pharmaceutical company or academic setting a plus epidemiology, public health, or related field.
- Proven ability to develop and utilise different health economics models to assess and communicate the public health impact and economic value of medicines/treatments.
- In-depth knowledge of evidence generation methods, strategies, and tools models including, but not limited to: health economics, cost-effectiveness/budget impact, real world evidence studies, peer reviewed publications.
- Skilled in translating complex economic concepts into simple language.
- Strong understanding of global HTA requirements and payer landscapes.
- Excellent communication, project management, and client facing skills.
- Must be fluent in English, with professional proficiency in verbal and written communications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with Project Management software (e.g., Kantata).
- Experience with proposal writing, lead research tools, and business reporting platforms.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Must have right to work in the UK or Ireland.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, client focused environment.
- Exceptional organisational, communication, and project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across cross functional, multi national teams, with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Commercially savvy and able to connect strategic insights to business impact.
- Willing to familiarise yourself with the company's vision and mission, seeking to accomplish set goals and objectives.
- Analytical and detail oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Self motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
