The Role: to join our talented technical team, we are looking for someone with significant knowledge in our relevant areas of expertise combined with a wide range of multi-disciplinary technical skills and experience . As a member of our team you will employ your technical skills on a wide range of projects, from early-stage innovation to full product development. Projects are usually multidisciplinary and require integrating fundamental science with advanced electronic, mechanical, firmware and software designThe role is varied and you will be required to apply your problem solving skills on a daily basis. You should enjoy participating in a dynamic team, working towards deadlines and delivering excellent technical solutions. You will be required to communicate effectively in a wide range of environments, both with colleagues and clients and will have the opportunity to develop your negotiation skills and expand your technical knowledge. Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification: Experience in the development of new products and platforms, ideally in a consultancy role or similar Experience in early-stage technology validation and prototypingStrong collaboration skills and capability to work in and lead multidisciplinary teamsProven experience in delivering projects or work packages to tight timescales and above client expectations.A Degree (2.1 or above, or equivalent), in a relevant scientific or engineering subject and previous industry experience Desirable Skills/Knowledge: Experience in mechanical design and rapid prototyping methodsFamiliarity with C/C++ for microprocessor coding, to facilitate mixed signal designFamiliarity with project scoping and planningExperience in managing projects, ensuring milestones delivery within time and budgetExperience in planning, executing and delivering lab testing activitiesbackground, skills and interests.
