As well as delivering work locally, you will have the opportunity to support projects with our water sector clients from across the United Kingdom and Ireland - including the delivery of vital resilience and improvement schemes, identifying and designing nature-based solutions to improve water quality, reduce overflows, boost biodiversity, and spearhead best practices in hydraulic modelling, water recycling, and digital innovation.

Role Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Advisory Services team in Belfast. Our Asset Management and Advisory Services teams have a significant track record of successful delivery across the Water and Infrastructure sectors. We support our clients to help them drive performance and realise financial and social value from their assets.

Responsibilities

An important part of your role will be to identify wider improvement opportunities for clients to reduce risk and/or improve their effectiveness and efficiency. You will build internal and external relationships to guide and influence client's strategic thinking and raise the profile of our Advisory Services group, with the overall aim of building and growing the Stantec business. As a Senior Consultant you will work alongside our Asset Management and Regulatory Advice leaders to develop and deliver innovative system-based solutions throughout the entire Asset Lifecycle, and supporting asset management subjects, to enable our clients to solve their most complex problems. You will support our Client Service and Technical Directors with the development, and delivery of programmes, projects and technical outputs.

About You

You will have knowledge of the principles of whole life asset management and regulatory concepts; and working experience within a regulated sector - e.g. water, energy or related infrastructure sector. You will be comfortable working collaboratively to develop asset management strategies that will deliver value for our clients. You will be a strategic/critical thinker and have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
