About The RoleMWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Senior Commercial Manager based at the Southern Water Region. The purpose of this role is to commercially manage large projects of circa £150 million, providing commercial support and leadership to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring contracts serve MWHT's best interests.
- Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate commercial risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Change Management: Identify and manage change proactively.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, ensure cost efficiency, and drive profitability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise the commercial team to meet departmental goals.
Essential:
- Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within the water sector.
- Experience managing projects exceeding £100m successfully.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in contract management and risk assessment.
- Experience in a senior management role.
- Demonstrable leadership capabilities.
- Client-facing joint venture experience.
- Drive to establish and embed positive delivery within the Joint Venture organization.
