Senior Commercial Manager - Construction

The opportunity

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior commercial manager to join our established and growing team at Gatwick. The role involves overseeing and managing commercial elements and profitability for the upgrade of terminal and infrastructure works.

Project: Working on refurbishment of passenger areas, security compliance process improvements within terminals, MEP refurbishment, and projects to extend the serviceability lifespan of existing buildings.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Working collaboratively with internal and external teams.
2. Procuring subcontractors.
3. Maintaining the commercial control of subcontract packages.
4. Ensuring the maximisation of value recovery, cost control, and cash management.
5. Protecting Mace's contractual position.
6. Preparing financial reports.
7. Producing final accounts.
8. Managing subcontract and materials orders.
9. Developing commercial awareness within the site team.
10. Managing a commercial team across multiple projects.
11. Working closely with the delivery director to implement programme delivery strategies.

About you

You hold a relevant degree qualification. You are digitally savvy, capable of building lasting client relationships, and providing support to motivated construction teams. You have a background in construction or project management and are eager to grow your career and explore the opportunities Mace offers.
