Position

Oncology Clinical Pharmacist (Part time 18 hours per week)

Hours

18 hours per week - Monday 08 30, Tuesday 08 00, Wednesday 09 30. Weekend, public holiday and extended hours may be required. Working may include over 7 days and/or extended days in accordance with AFC terms. Based at University Hospital Crosshouse with area wide remit, travel to other sites may be required.

What you will do
  • Provide, manage and evaluate a highly specialised clinical oncology pharmacy service in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Work with the wider cancer Multi Disciplinary Team at local and regional levels to safely deliver systemic anti cancer therapies across Ayrshire.
  • Take responsibility for system based clinical governance activities, including participation in local and national specialist groups.
  • Carry out Advanced Practice and Non Medical Prescribing duties within a defined clinical area.
  • Engage in research and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in oncology pharmacy with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for driving change and continuous improvement.
  • UK driving licence (car) and willingness to travel between sites.
