Job Overview

The successful candidate will be one of a number of Doctors supported by a team of consultants, middle grades, junior doctors and Nurse Practitioners. The role will cover all aspects of T&O admissions at Middle Grade level and provide an ideal opportunity to gain wider experience in an acute setting. The post holder will work as a middle grade on the on call rota, which is resident on site. A wide range of general experience is required, and special interests complementing existing services will be supported. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage T&O admissions at Middle Grade level.
• Provide outpatient clinic services.
• Participate in theatre sessions.
• Attend ward rounds and pre operative assessments.
• Conduct post operative assessments.
• Commit to a 1:8 resident on site on call roster.

Qualifications

• MRCS or equivalent.

Experience

• Extensive experience at Senior House Officer level or extensive equivalent post graduation experience.
