Job Title: Senior Client Service Manager

Contract Type: Temporary (6 months), Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday

Salary: £31,150 per annum plus On-call shift payment of £14.30 per session, with benefits including Health Cash Plan

Are you passionate about leading a caring team and empowering customers to live their best lives? As a Senior Client Services Manager in Exeter, you will lead one of our Devon Enhanced Community Recovery Service teams, delivering person-centred housing-related support and fostering a positive work environment for colleagues.

You will oversee our 5-bed house, supporting customers with complex mental health issues to develop skills and achieve independence. This role offers the opportunity to unlock colleagues' potential and deliver excellent outcomes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a motivated team to provide efficient, high-quality, person-centred services in line with contractual obligations, customer satisfaction surveys, and KPIs.
  2. Serve as the Safeguarding Lead for the service.
  3. Ensure health and safety checks and risk assessments are completed and accurately recorded.
  4. Manage the contract, budgets, KPIs, and liaise with stakeholders and commissioners.
  5. Assess and manage individual and team performance through coaching, ensuring colleagues meet competency standards and objectives to support customers effectively.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A calm, flexible, and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure, following policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of our customers' needs and a passion to advocate for them.
  • Experience in people management and delivering support within housing or care environments.
  • Knowledge of mental health and housing law.
  • Own a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage reimbursement provided.

Job Details:

  • Flexible working hours; work pattern negotiable.
  • Primarily on-site in Exeter with occasional travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal applications, with strong written communication and attention to detail.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required; we will cover the cost.
