I'm working on behalf of a well-backed, fast-growing MGA that is looking to appoint a Senior Claims Adjuster with a core focus on Marine particularly yacht, and ideally experience across multiple lines of business. Aviation being the second that would be most pertinent to this role

This is a unique opportunity to join at an early and influential stage of the company's development. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the claims function, bringing technical expertise and a proactive mindset to a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The Opportunity

  • Manage and lead a portfolio of complex Marine claims, with the ability to support across other specialty lines including Aviation, Property, Energy, Cargo, or Liability.

  • Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Operations, and senior leadership to develop best-in-class claims processes and insights.

  • Act as a key market-facing representative, building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, clients, and stakeholders across the London Market.

  • Contribute to the development of the wider claims strategy and help scale a modern, efficient, and responsive claims function.

  • Deputise in absence of the HO Claims and mentor the junior staff-members.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience handling Marine claims ideally Yacht within the London Market-this is essential.

  • Exposure to multiple lines of business and the ability to operate flexibly across a broad portfolio.

  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commercially minded, with the ability to align claims strategy with wider business objectives.

  • Previous experience in a start-up, scale-up, or transformational environment is advantageous.

  • Personable and dynamic, the culture is very friendly and has a family feel.
