Senior Civil Estimator

Due to the increasing workload within YTL Construction (Infrastructure), we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Estimator to join our Estimating team.

You will be responsible for delivering construction estimates for in-house teams and ensuring governance and assurance for schemes delivered with external partners.

What you'll do

You will prepare civil estimates by interpreting civil drawings and specifications, reviewing tender enquiry documents, drawings, and schedules. You will gather information from site visits and meetings.

You will also record, measure, and prepare take-off quantities from tender drawings, liaise with sales and contracting teams, and lead negotiations with our supply chain.

You will collaborate with our Commercial teams and be involved in negotiating variations, applications, and final accounts with external construction partners, fostering strong relationships with Designers, Project Managers, client teams, and suppliers.

What you'll need

You should have significant civil engineering experience; water and wastewater experience is highly desirable.

You must be capable of preparing civil engineering estimates, analyzing engineering drawings, and preparing sub-contractor and supplier enquiries and contracts.

Excellent computer skills, with extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle are required.
