Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Guildford
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
An established infrastructure and transport planning consultancy with a team of 50 technical professionals is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their Guildford office.
About the Team & Company
You will be joining the Water Team, which consists of six members:
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, planning, and delivering development schemes. Your technical responsibilities will include:

Key Qualifications & Skills
️ Strong engineering and project management skills
️ Experience in Flood Risk Assessments & Drainage Strategies
️ Knowledge of Section 104, 106, and 98 agreements
️ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
️ Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, and other relevant software
️ Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

- 2x Principal Engineers
- 2x Engineers
- Residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and warehouse developments
- Energy projects, including wind farms, battery storage, and green parks
- Projects range from small-scale developments to large infrastructure schemes
As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, planning, and delivering development schemes. Your technical responsibilities will include:
- Producing drainage strategies using InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage
- Developing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
- Engaging with section 104, 106, and 98 agreements
